HOW IT WORKS

Take stock of everything you spend and see where you can make savings. When you put your mind to it you will be amazed how much you can save.

From these savings all we ask is you donate a small amount to our cause

See below for some ideas of where you can save money..

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are a convenient way of paying for services such as food delivery, gym membership, TV subscriptions, Music etc. But keeping track of them can be difficult and many of us are paying for subscriptions we don’t need or have forgotten we have them! Why not review your transactions

and see if this is the case?

Online subscriptions could be costing you money and you don't even know it. A survey found that 42% of consumers forgot they are still paying for a subscription they no longer use. To help you there are subscription checkers out there such as INXY which does the hard work for you. So, with money you’ve saved by cancelling unwanted subscriptions, you could donate some or all of this to one of our partners.

Britons waste a collective £25billion each year by paying for subscriptions they don't use or want!

Groceries

With supermarkets trying to help keep costs low by introducing new schemes, for example Asda’s ‘Just Essentials’ range as well people switching supermarkets for cheaper alternatives, they have managed to save money. Whatever savings you have been making, donate some or all of the money to one of our partners that are striving to help reduce the risk of people experiencing homelessness during such difficult times.

Deliveries

We know most people enjoy a takeaway, but with the rising costs, people are now cutting down on the amount they consume. As well as the health benefits involved, you can scrub up on your cooking skills and cook a simple, fresh meal that can be eaten over a number of days… for example a spag bol!
